Chateau Taillefer er en klassisk Pomorol af meget høj kvalitet. Huset er ejet er Familien Moueix, der ejer ejer en række slotte i Pomorol og andre steder. Bla ejer de Tratanoy og Lafleur Petrus. Vinen er lavet på 81% Merlot og 19% Cabernet Franc
og den er lagret i 12 måneder på små egetræsfade (40% nye - 60% brugt i et år).

About Taillefer:
Located on the plateau of Pomerol, Château Taillefer is named after a specificity of the appellation, the iron oxides.
The elders recount that the plow “carves iron" (“taille le fer”in french) given the amount lifted in this vineyard.
